Time for something new!

Hi, I'm Maggie. I am a potter who usually sells at a few shows a year, but Covid 19 has put a bit of a stop to shows. Hence my new website. It's a chance to get some pottery out of my garage, so I can continue to make more! I picked up pottery a few years ago as a hobby, never realizing that it easily becomes an addiction.

I have always been inspired my nature, whether in Maine or myore recent home in Coastal North Carolina. I love the ocean, and the garden and a bit of whimsy and magic.

I love pottery too, the making, the glazing and the using. I love the different effects possible with carving, underglaze and glaze. I love the textures, the colors and the feel of it in my hands. When I use a piece of hand crafted pottery it enhances my experience in so many ways. I get to have art as part of my morning coffee, with all that entails ( including sometimes a critique of the piece). Thanks for taking the time to check out my website.
